What is Gotland Wool and how does it differ to other varieties of wool? Gotland wool comes from one of Sweden’s oldest sheep breeds and is known for its distinctive silky texture and natural sheen. Compared to more common wool types, it is slightly coarser yet smoother to the touch, offering a unique balance of durability, softness, and a subtle lustre that gives the blanket its gentle drape and refined finish.

Wool is naturally dirt-repellent and requires minimal washing. Air regularly, preferably in damp weather, to refresh.

• Machine wash below 30 degress on a wool cycle only
• Use a detergent suitable for wool
• Spin at low speed (max 800 rpm)
• Always follow care instructions for your specific wool blend (some items are dry clean only)
• Remove promptly after washing
