Hasami Porcelain Mug - Dark Grey

Hasami Porcelain Mugs combine modern design with the quality of traditional craftsmanship. Made from white porcelain, a stronger material than the porcelain and clay blend used across the rest of Hasami Porcelain. A matte charcoal exterior, with the interior glaze setting it apart.

A recessed footring lifts the mug clear of the table, so it appears to float rather than sit. The 8.5cm diameter is shared across Hasami mugs, cups and plates, allowing pieces to stack neatly and be interchanged. The 8.5cm plate can also double as a coaster, lid or small biscuit dish.

Why we chose it: Two finishes on one piece: a soft matt exterior for the hand, contrasted with a glazed interior. The white porcelain body is stronger than the standard Hasami blend, and the 8.5cm diameter still ties it back to everything else in the range.

Choosing a size: A standard coffee is around 180ml and a large is around 340ml. The Small at 300ml sits close to a cafe coffee, and the Regular at 380ml works as an everyday mug.
