Part of the Hasami Porcelain range, made in the historic porcelain town of Hasami, Japan, this Round Bowl brings the same modular system to everyday serving. At 7.2cm high, it sits taller than the standard 5.5cm bowl, giving more room without changing the footprint. It stacks with bowls and plates of matching diameter for storage, and matching plates work as lids to keep food warm at the table or covered in the fridge.

This bowl is fast becoming a favourite go to. I have other hasami bowls with a glossy smooth interior and these have a rougher edge inside, which may not be to everyone's liking. However hearing your spoon scrape every speck inside against its grainier surface has very ASMR satisfaction.
