Description

The Boma Cloth is a generously sized kitchen towel that is as good-looking as it is functional. Colourful, absorbent and durable in a vibrant palette inspired by the rich African natural landscape and heritage.

The Boma Cloth takes its name from the traditional African ‘boma’ - an enclosure or gathering place to enjoy an outdoor, fireside meal and soak up the open-air atmosphere of a warm and welcoming South African sun or starlit sky.

Mungo believe that good quality with a conscience never goes out of fashion. All Mungo products are carefully designed and individually woven on refurbished looms at the Mungo Mill in Plettenberg Bay.

  • Materials: 100% cotton
  • Dimensions: 45cm x 90cm
  • Hemmed finish
  • Hanging hook on corner

ABOUT THE BRAND

MUNGO TEXTILES

South African textile brand Mungo is built on traditional weaving craftsmanship and sustainability. Founded in Plettenberg Bay, the family-run mill operates restored antique looms to produce high-quality textiles, from towels and throws to table linens. Each piece is carefully woven by skilled artisans, combining heritage techniques with contemporary design. With a focus on ethical production, Mungo’s textiles are designed to last, bringing warmth, texture, and character to the home while preserving the art of weaving.
