Mungo Mohair Momo Throw - Twilight

Holds warmth across a queen bed without the weight of a wool blanket. Kid mohair and silk are woven as the weft over a cotton warp, so the surface carries the brushed texture and lustre of the mohair while the cotton warp does the structural work. The pattern is built from oversized plaid blocks broken by accent colour. Designed and woven at Mungo's own mill in South Africa.

Kid mohair comes from an Angora goat’s first shearing, producing the finest fleece it will grow and available only once. It holds warmth at very little weight and, unlike wool, resists matting, helping the surface retain its characteristic sheen with use. Most of the world’s mohair is farmed in South Africa, where this throw is woven.
